IEM Katowice: Recap Collection Coming March 25th!
The IEM Katowice: Recap collection will be dropping on Kolex next week, and will introduce a new, premium structure for event Recap collections. Filled with exclusive Tier 3s with lower circulations & unique designs, along with leaderboard rewards to earn MVP & Trophy cards, this set will act as an exciting leap toward a more rewarding collecting experience on the Kolex platform.
Specifics around pack odds will be released early next week — follow our announcements on Discord & Twitter to make sure you don’t miss out!
IMPORTANT: Major Upcoming Economy Changes
The Kolex platform will be transitioning into a cash-based market system before the CSGO 2022 Core Season launch. Users will be able to deposit funds to the platform and use them to buy packs & bundles from the primary pack store, along with spend those funds directly on the secondary marketplace. Users will be able to sell their collectibles on this marketplace and may withdraw their balance.
With this transition, we will begin phasing out Epicoins and all current market listings will be removed in the near future. More details and specific dates for the launch of the 2022 Core Season and the marketplace transition will be announced in the near future!

2022 1st Edition & Katowice Preorder Incentives
🗓️ ENTRIES CLOSING MARCH 27TH 🗓️
We currently offer incentives in the form of raffle entries for preordering 2022 1st Edition boxes directly from https://shop.kolex.gg. Each Large Box purchased will grant you 2 entries and each Small Box will reward 1 entry into raffles for an assortment of unique collectibles, including signed jerseys, a signed Epics binder, P-mint Player Signature cards, and newly-announced digital bundles from the IEM Katowice: Recap collection. You can read all of the details on these incentives in this post.
We’re on track to begin shipping in late March to early April. Entries for the preorder raffles end on March 27th at 00:00 UTC. The raffle will be held at a later date.
New Additions & Updates to the Kolex Team!
Matt Becker, better known as lu1gi in our community, has joined the Kolex team to act as our new Product Content Manager. He’ll be working closely with our creative team to design the overall structure of digital and physical collections across Kolex and Kolectiv, including deciding the timing, drop mechanics, and price models for upcoming releases, and much more behind the scenes!
Long-time community member PR1D3 has moved into a full-time position and will be designing & executing marketing campaigns on social media, creating community engagement events, and fostering an active community.
We’ve brought our friend Matteo (@rederrr_) on as a Community Moderator, joining our moderation team to help support collectors in our community and work with our project team to pass along feedback and escalate issues.
Cooper Dunton (@Worth — Hi!) is moving into a new position, taking on a Community Coordinator role to focus on communication, marketing, and community growth initiatives — including writing Weekly Newsletters like the one you’re reading right now!

2020 Signature Series — Hot Auction Results 🔥
A public auction of four separate 2020 First Edition cards concluded last week, with the highlight sale being a 2020 Signature Series dev1ce #8/28 going for a smooth $950. Signatures from ropz & kennyS additionally went for $450 each, and a 2020 White Centurion s1mple A31 sold for $310 in the same auction.
2021 Physical Collection Highlights
2021 Collectors Edition Signatures have begun arriving in the hands of our collectors — including the raffled Natus Vincere Team Cards — leading to some impressive pictures of these exceptional keepsakes!
