Upcoming Major Economy Changes —Please Read!
The Kolex platform will be transitioning into a cash-based market system before the CSGO 2022 Core Season launch. Collectors will be able to deposit funds to the platform and use them to buy packs & bundles from the primary pack store, along with spend those funds directly on the secondary marketplace. Users will be able to sell their collectibles on this marketplace and may withdraw their balance.
With this transition, we will begin phasing out Epicoins. More details and specific dates for the launch of the 2022 Core Season and the marketplace transition will be announced in the near future!
Epicoins Sales End March 28th
We will no longer offer Epicoins for sale beginning March 28th at 00:00 UTC. Any Epicoins purchased before this date will remain in your Kolex account.
Market Listings Removed & Cash-Based Marketplace Launch 1 Week Prior to Core 2022
One week before the release of Digital Core 2022, the cash-based marketplace will launch and all current market listings for Epicoins will be removed. At this time, all cards, stickers, and packs currently listed for Epicoins on the secondary marketplace will be removed from sale & returned to their owners’ collections.
These items will not be automatically relisted for cash, and there is no guarantee that the same items will be relisted by their owners after we transition to the cash-based system. If there is anything you wish to purchase from the secondary marketplace using your Epicoins, 1 week prior to the launch of Core marks the last day to do so.
With the upcoming removal of all marketplace listings, users will no longer be able to sell items for or purchase items from other collectors using Epicoins. However, Epicoins can still be used to purchase Event drops, including Groups and Recap collections, on the primary market throughout the 2022 season. There will not be a bonus for using Epicoins to purchase these drops, and this feature primarily exists to give collectors an option of what to spend their Epicoins on.
The current plan is to remove Epicoins altogether at the conclusion of the 2022 digital season, which should take place in early 2023.
Official AMAs will be scheduled & announced in advance as we continue to release more details.
