Kolectiv Monthly Recap | May 2022
As we move into the month of June, here’s a recap of what went on in Kolectiv in May 2022!
Cryptees Launch
Cryptees is a streetwear fashion brand that focuses on closing the gap between NFT and physical goods, incubated by our parent company Kolex. The genesis drop featured art design by NFT Artist Dario De Siena and was launched on May 10th, 2022. Check out Cryptees at https://cryptees.gg and learn more about our Genesis drop here.
After the initial launch and sales closed, the remaining unsold mints were burned and will no longer be available. Collectors who purchased a Cryptees x Dario de Siena t-shirt will get an airdrop of the featured artwork to their Kolectiv accounts as a one-time Genesis perk.
We look forward sharing our second drop in the near future — featuring another significant artist in the NFT space!
Partnerships
Chimpers Allowlist Giveaway
Timpers, the wonderful NFT pixel artist behind projects including the Bored Ape Chronicles and Chimpers Genesis, was kind enough to gift 10 Allowlist slots to the Kolectiv community for their latest collection, Chimpers. Chimpers are a collection of generative NFT pixel characters and are your digital identity for the Chimpverse and your passport to adventure.
Holders of Timpers’ “To the Moon” NFT, featured in the Crypto 2021 collection on Kolectiv, had fantastic odds of winning one of the 10 Chimpers Allowlist slots — especially when compared to other Chimpers Allowlist giveaways that saw hundreds of collectors enter to win limited slots.
Living up to the “To the Moon” title of Timpers’ Kolectiv piece, the floor on the TBAC eBook, which acted as the Allowlist token for the Chimpers project, peaked at over 4 ETH on OpenSea before the snapshot. Chimpers NFTs sold as high as 10E and above, and the floor has currently stabilized around 2.5E at time of writing.
Hro Allowlist Giveaways
Hro held their second monthly digital drop, “Superhuman Strength,” which consisted of 15,900 packs sold at $50/per. A total of 85x Early Access Allowlist slots into this highly-demanded drop were distributed to the Kolectiv community:
- 25x slots raffled to the wider community via Gleam
- 50x slots given away via the Kolectiv Discord to Silver and Gold Founders holders
- 10x slots given to our Top 10 Global collectors on the Kolectiv platform
All 15,900 Superhuman Strength packs sold out within 6 minutes of the public sale. Hro has now surpassed $7,300,000 (2,647 ETH) in secondary market volume across the Hro platform & Immutable X and is ramping up for their next digital drop focused on DC Pride coming mid-June.

Discord Changes
Kolector Role
We rolled out a Kolector Discord role that you can verify for, if you have more than 5 Kolectiv NFTs in your collection. This is an elevated role, similar to Silver and Gold Founders, and will be prioritized in future activities, raffles, and giveaways.

AMAs
Immutable, Dario, & Cryptees Launch Party
We held several AMAs this month to introduce the community to Kolectiv artists and partnered organizations, including AMAs with the following teams:
- Dario De Siena
- Immutable X
- Cryptees
The interactive AMAs allowed the community to present many fantastic questions to the teams, giving us plenty of solid feedback to take into consideration moving forward. We also gave away many prizes for participation, including Dario’s NFT worth 0.6E, a Cryptees shirt, and various Kolectiv NFT packs, NFTs, and early access slots during the sessions.
Website Improvements
While keeping community feedback and suggestions on website functionality in mind, the Kolectiv developers are working hard behind the scenes to continuously improve collector experience. Here’s the latest patch notes!
Web App Changelog 05/26/2022:
- Bug fixed the marketplace search box only showing results from the collection previously selected in the Collection view.
- Auction outbid notifications now link to the exact auction.
- Added sorting options on Distribution page; mint, status, & info/price.
- Added a User Search to the navigation bar.
- Fixed not being able to see the Kolectiv history on the items that are on a non-connected Ethereum wallet.
- In the market, when you filter by a specific collection and click on a card from that collection, then click “Close,” the filter was reverted to “All Drops” instead of the specific collection you were viewing. It now returns you to the same collection!
- Fixed only being able to see the cards from the previously-selected collection in your Asset Vault; it will now show them all.
- Added a view to see all collections at once when viewing someone’s profile.
- We’ve made it easier to sweep the floor! When you buy something you’ll stay on the item you just purchased instead of closing the window.
