Digital Core Season 2022 — Under Kolex!
The 2022 Season, Core pre-sale will be launching on September 9th, 16:00 UTC. Packs will be available to be opened from 17:00 UTC.
Season 2022 brings big changes to the structure, value and obtainability of our core collection. The fundamental idea is to add more value to our core cards than in previous years. We’re going for a quality over quantity approach.
We started by reducing the total number of unique cards required to complete. Every player will get either a common card or an uncommon card based on their Overall Rating. They will then get either a Superior, Epic or Legendary player card again based on this same rating.
Additional card types include fan favorite Team / Team Player cards (T2), Legends (T3), In-Game Leaders (T3), Top Teams (T3) Pinnacle (T3) and Signature Series (T3). Pinnacle will be a 1/25 Core card exclusive to Batch A. This Pinnacle Player/Card will be different for each future 2022 Batch. We share more about the Signature Series later in the article!
More in line with our CSGO physical collections, we will be dropping 2022 core packs in batches over the season. Each Batch will be limited with no additional packs minted once they are sold out. These batches will be spread-out across the entire digital season and not released upon sellout of the previous batch.
Core cards will only be obtainable from In App Purchases. They will not be obtainable in achievements or found on the Prize Wheel.
Pack Changes
This year we will only have one pack available for purchase including 2022 Core cards. This Core pack will be a 5 card pack with the following odds per card:
- Common & Uncommon — 64.74%
- Superior (T1) — 13.46%
- Epic (T2) —6.01%
- Team & Player (T2) — 14.15%
- Legendary (T3) — 1.56%
- Signature Series (T3)— 0.08%
Signature Series
For the first time in CS:GO, we will release a digital Signature Series set in Core 2022 packs. The available signatures will be visible within the app.
Pricing Structure
The packs will be available directly from within the pack store, and will be sold at $2.50/pack.
