CS:GO 2020 Core Crafting!

The Recap

What is Crafting? This is an Epics feature enabling users to combine cards to obtain new ones! Got a ton of duplicate cards on the market you can’t sell? A bunch of purples in your inventory? Craft ’em to for a chance to receive a card you are missing. We are releasing new recipes based on the community’s feedback during the 2019 season. The premise will be the same; you will combine core cards from a given tier to build a single random core card from the next higher tier.

What You’ll need

We want to make crafting simple. We are moving away from crafting boosts and will continue to focus on silver coins as the currency component tied to crafting. This currency is obtained through achievements, the prize wheel, the store and possibly future content releases.

• Purple to Silver — Requirements: (2) 2020 Purple Core Cards & 500 Silver Coins
• Silver to Gold — Requirements: (3) 2020 Silver Core Cards & 500 Silver Coins
• Gold to Diamond — Requirements: (4) 2020 Core Gold Cards & 500 Silver Coins
• Diamond to Tier 1 Superior — Requirements: (10) 2020 Diamond Core Cards & 2500 Silver Coins
• Tier 1 Superior to Tier 2 Epic — Requirements: (10) 2020 Tier 1 Superior Core Cards & 12500 Silver Coins
• Tier 2 Epic to Tier 3 Legendary — Requirements: (1) 2020 Legendary Shard (25) 2020 Tier 2 Epic Core Cards & 62500 Silver Coins

Reading the fine print

We’ve added the starting set of core recipes. Remember, all cards used in crafting will generate Season 2020 cards only!! If you use legacy craft recipes involving 2019 cards to craft; you will still get a 2020 core card. Any cards used as materials to craft may be returned to the game and obtained through future packs released by Epics, for example: purple & gold packs.
